Francesca Sheeka is an EU Tech Policy Lead at Talos, an organization focused on helping develop European AI policy leaders. She has extensive experience working in international governmental organizations, such as the OECD, UNESCO and the European Commission. As an AI Policy Analyst at the OECD, she managed the OECD.AI Database of National AI Policies and Strategies and helped launch the Working Party on AI Governance. Francesca was also a 2024 AI Futures Fellow, where she researched the effectiveness of political consensus-building institutions and soft law efforts around AI.
