Since 2019, she has been working as an AI Specialist at The Digital Transformation Office, The Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, contributing significantly to Türkiye’s National AI Strategy and action plan. She coordinates initiatives such as the “AI Ecosystem in the Public Sector Project Calls” and the “Public Data Space” projects. She has been representing the Republic of Türkiye in the OECD AI Governance Working Group. Simultaneously, she has continued to impart knowledge on the technical side of AI and the Ethics of AI as a researcher and lecturer at Bahçeşehir University. Her versatile expertise encompasses AI applications in waste recycling, crowd surveillance, public policies, and product development. Her consultancy of the teams has earned her top honors in Türkiye’s premier AI in transportation and Turkish NLP competitions.
