On 30 October 2023, President Biden signed into effect the Executive Order (EO) on Safe, Secure, and Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence. This EO set out to establish sweeping AI safety and security standards to protect Americans’ privacy and civil rights, promote consumer protection, enable AI innovation, and advance American technology leadership globally.
