I am advocate for the responsible development and use of AI, emphasizing its potential to advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals. My focus extends to promoting equity, inclusion, gender equality, and cultural diversity, recognizing the pivotal role these principles play in achieving meaningful progress. I am a Forhumanity certified EU AI Act auditor and a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and the International Association of Algorithmic Auditors (IAAA).

Healthcare systems are currently adapting to digital technologies, producing large quantities of novel data. Based on these data, machine-learning algorithms have been developed to support practitioners in labor-intensive workflows. Efforts have started worldwide to establish guidelines for evaluating machine learning for health (ML4H) tools, highlighting the necessity to evaluate models for bias, interpretability, robustness, and possible failure modes.
