The Republic of Korea and the United Kingdom jointly hosted the second AI summit on 21st and 22nd May 2024, following the UK's AI Safety Summit in 2023. The AI Seoul Summit 2024 brought together leaders from government, industry, academia, and civil society to explore global cooperation on AI safety, innovation, and inclusivity. It is built on the momentum generated by the initial Safety Summit and aimedto maintain the progress made in the previous year.
