The Artificial Intelligence Video Interview Act came into effect in Illinois on 1st January 2020. The first of its kind, the law affects employers using artificial intelligence to analyse video interviews completed by job applicants. It requires them to be more transparent about ‍the algorithms they use to evaluate applications.
